Having been providing dance floors for large dancing events for many years. The one question we always get asked is will it come apart and will there be gaps?
Answer
All of the dance floors we use are only used for dancing events. We take steps to ensure that everything to keep a dance floor together is in place. Such as
Using a new / very little used floor so that the connectors are as strong as they can be
The backs of a number of panels have velcro to help adhere to the carpet underlay and thus keeping movement to a minimum
We can use antislip underlay if required.
We can have staff remain on site for the duration of the event or compeition so that between use the floor can be lifted and relaid to ensure no gaps appear.

FAQs
What is the biggest floor we can provide?
If you are happy to have the combination of the 2 different coloured floors then we can cover around 7000 sq feet. If you need the dance floor to be of the same colour then about 3600 sq feet in one dance floor.
How to we ensure the dance floor stays together with no gaps?
Firstly our panels and never old and we have a rotation that means we sell off older panels. One of the biggest problems is wear on the connectors, which leads to gaps appearing when subjected to lots of latteral movement. Secondly, the dance floor are always laid correctley. If there is thick pile carpet at the venue we can also lay additional anti slip mats below the dance floor to stop any movement. Lastley we can have a staff member stay on site, so should there ever be an issue the floor can be relaid.
How long is the hire for?
WE can provide a dance floor hrie for an evening or a over a month. It depends on the needs of the event.
How long do we need to setup?
This depends on access to the venue, along with the size of the dance floor. For our normal size floors such as a 54′ x 54′ once the dance floor is in the room it takes no more that 2 hours to lay.
